LUNAR DATA VAULT - TECH [LUNAR GAMEPLAY]- NEW3DGE

Hello ! I have the honor to present my work in Technical Art for LUNAR DATA VAULT. Especially the MotorCycle. It was for the very last project, for my very last year at NEW3DGE.
It was a great challenge and the most complexe system I've ever had to make. I spend a couple of months developping it, and I discovered a huge amount of technics.
I also show in the making of, how I manage to bring more life to the environment with a lot of Tech Anim work.
I'm very happy about the result but I won't stop here.

Motorcycle Gameplay

First of all, I needed to find a way to avoid any Plug-In. So I did several days of resarches and tests.

After a couple of months, I ended up with this. There's PhysicalConstraints that stitch all the parts, such as suspensions. Then the wheels turn and I add friction, That's it.

For the character, I placed SceneComponents for the Feet, Hands and Hips Placement.

The SceneComponent for the Hips is attached to "TheCube", itself attached to the bike with a PhysicConstraint. So the character can Lean.

This system works with ControlRig to allows IK animation to make the Job. But I added more parameters to the spine, for the character to be more natural.

Here is a good example to see how the character can react.

My last year at new3dge is done. I take an ancient blueprint, so I will see how far I can bring this system and this, with my own ressources, and engine.
